Best dating video games columbus dating short who

was pitched to me by a friend as a horror video game in the guise of an anime-style dating simulation.

While it's only been out for a month, it's already gained a cult following, and currently has a 10/10 rating from over 8,000 reviews on Steam, where it's available as a free download.

I played the first "act" or so with friends the other day and, while it starts slow, it descends into a singularly unique, deranged, and truly scary experience.

It lulls you into a false sense of security that you just might be able to predict how things will go south, then takes a wild left turn into some of the most wickedly inventive narrative techniques I've ever seen.

It follows you as a male protagonist joining your high school's literature club, whose membership consists of four girls, each of whom clearly has a vested interest in you, and some unnervingly stereotypical tight-fitting clothing. There are certain hints dropped that all might not be as swell as the game's upbeat music, bright colors suggest.
